Recreation and entertainment
All the Guests who stay in our hotel for a longer time are offered - in summer - many sports and recreation facilities (tennis courts, bowling and swimming pools) in Cieszyn and nearby town of Ustroń, Istebna and Skoczów. In winter, you are invited for skiing on the "Cieślarówka" slopes in Cieszyn or its surroundings - Czantoria Wielka or Palenica.
Amateurs of sightseeing are recommended to visit the historical places of the old Cieszyn and several unique natural attractions in the neighbourhood.
St. Mary Magdalene Church built in the Gothic style in the 13th century.
Piast Tower - the most characteristic building in Cieszyn. It is a remnant after the medieval castle of Przemko I of the 14th century. After overcoming of the steep 30-metre stairs, one can admire a beautiful panorama of the town. Next to the tower, there is the oldest, probably from the 11th century, Silesian building - the St, Nicholas Church, called the Rotunda.
The Cieszyn Venice - hardly anybody knows about the existence of the Cieszyn Venice. It is a former craftsmen, mainly tanners, district, picturesquely situated over a channel, dated back to the turn of the 18th century. After the World War II it was forgotten, but renovated in the 1990s, it attracts tourists again.
The Well of Three Brothers - it refers to the legend about the establishment of the town in the year 810, when royal sons - Bolko, Leszko i Cieszko met here after a long separation and expressed their happiness with the meeting by founding the town.
The Forest Park of Surprises at Ustroń
On the Southern slope of Równica mountain, in the area of 15 hectares, one can observe roe deer, several species of deer (e.g. Sika and Dybowski deer), fallow deer, goats, wild boars, mouflons, and sometimes a fox shoots past. In the falconry place, one can admire beautiful birds of prey - hawks, falcons, saker falcons and owls.
In the natural reserves of the neighbourhood, one can stumble on a rear flower with pale green petals, called "cieszynianka wiosenna" (Spring Cieszyner).
